2018 Proposals

CRD NOTICE 2018-01: NOTICE OF INTENT TO TRANSPLANT SEED OYSTERS FROM THE JAMES RIVER FOR THE 2018 OYSTER REPLENISHMENT PROGRAM. Persons interested in this planting work should contact the Conservation and Replenishment Department at the main office either in writing or by telephone no later than 12 Noon, Wednesday, March 14, 2018.

CRD NOTICE 2018-02: NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF SEED OYSTERS IN THE PIANKATANK AND GREAT WICOMICO RIVERS FOR PRIVATE INDUSTRY FOR THE PURPOSE OF PLANTING ON PRIVATE OYSTER GROUND LEASES. All interested buyers must contact the Conservation and Replenishment Department by mail, fax, or e-mail no later than March 14, 2018. The response must indicate the amount desired (200-500 bushel increments).

CRD NOTICE 2018-03: NOTICE OF INTENT TO HARVEST, TRANSPORT, AND REPLANT ON PUBLIC OYSTER GROUNDS IN POCOMOKE SOUND FOR THE 2018 OYSTER REPLENISHMENT PROGRAM Responses are requested by no later than 12 noon, March 21, 2018.

CRD NOTICE 2018-04: NOTICE OF INTENT TO HARVEST SHELL CULTCH TO BE TRANSPORTED, AND PLANTED ON OYSTER GROUNDS ON THE SEASIDE OF EASTERN SHORE, VIRGINIA FOR THE 2018 OYSTER REPLENISHMENT PROGRAM Responses are requested in writing to be sent either by mail, fax, or e-mail by no later than 12 noon, March 21, 2018.

CRD NOTICE 2018-05: NOTICE OF INTENT TO TRANSPLANT SEED OYSTERS FROM THE LOWER JAMES RIVER, NANSEMOND RIDGE AREA FOR THE 2018 OYSTER REPLENISHMENT PROGRAM Responses are requested in writing to be sent either by mail, fax, or e-mail by no later than 12 noon, April 25, 2018.

CRD NOTICE 2018-06: NOTICE OF INTENT TO PURCHASE CLEAN, GROUND CONCRETE OR CRUSHED GRANITE STONE AND TO DEPLOY THIS MATERIAL ON OYSTER BEDS IN THE RAPPAHANNOCK AND PIANKATANK RIVERS FOR THE 2018 OYSTER REPLENISHMENT PROGRAM Responses are requested in writing to be sent either by mail, fax, or e-mail by no later than 12 noon, May 31, 2018.

CRD NOTICE 2018-07: NOTICE OF INTENT TO HARVEST SHELL CULTCH TO BE TRANSPORTED, AND PLANTED ON OYSTER GROUNDS ON THE SEASIDE OF EASTERN SHORE, VIRGINIA FOR THE 2018 OYSTER REPLENISHMENT PROGRAM Responses are requested in writing to be sent either by mail, fax, or e-mail by no later than 12 noon, October 5, 2018.

CRD 13-08 - Notice of availability of shell for private industry for the purpose of planting on private oyster ground leases, All interested buyers must contact the Conservation and Replenishment Department in writing by mail, fax, or e-mail to receive a contract to harvest shells and forms to report harvest.  The information required for the contract: name, offloading point, method of transport, and area of planting (Lease #).

CRD 18-01 - Shell dredging and shell planting for Virginia's portion of the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.
