The app estimates probabilities of ages for a fish given its species name (aged at the VMRC Ageing Lab), sex (male, female, and unknown), and total length (inch/mm).
Sample Size Estimator for Ageing
The app estimates sample sizes for ageing fish species using Striped Bass and Weakfish aged by the VMRC Ageing Lab as examples. Users may upload their length-age data to do their own estimates.
VMRC Ageing Lab Data Share App The app is designed to share the age data collected by the VMRC Ageing. Users need to get approval from the VMRC Fisheries Management Division in order to access/download the age data using the app.

Fish Growth Predictor The app uses R function nls() and Kimura likelihood method to estimate fish growth and to compare growth rates, respectively. The User’s Guide has an example on how to use it.
VMRC Ageing Lab Image Share App The app is designed to share large images made at the VMRC Ageing Lab but too large to be emailed. Users need to get approval from the VMRC Fisheries Management Division in order to access/download the images using the app.
